Typically, we apply a high water pressure of 150 PSI (11 kg/cm²) to this machine and continuously operate it with on-off cycles. It needs to function 110,000 times without leaking, and afterwards, the tactile sensation should still feel smooth when turned by hand to be considered qualified. Samples tested are then scrapped, and for every production batch of 1000 units, one unit undergoes durability testing.

(1) Copper-plated Chrome

Thirdly: differences in internal material composition affect pricing. Opting for a copper ball structure, known for durability, over a short-lived plastic-based long shaft core for switching between purified and raw water, can result in substantial cost discrepancies.

Fourthly: conscientious manufacturers often incorporate a stainless steel filter screen at the water inlet of diverter valves. This feature effectively filters fine sand and stones from tap water, enhancing the valve’s longevity.
