Celebrity Bingbing Fan, Chiling Lin, Tamia Liu, and Lei Huang attended AUQATECH Shanghai
- Exhibition Scope Expanded Multiple Times
Organised annually by the Dutch company Amsterdam RAI, the 9th AQUATECH Shanghai concluded on 17th June. The first AQUATECH in Shanghai took place in 2008, just nine years ago. Due to the rapid increase in the number of exhibitors, the available floor space quickly became insufficient, leading to the venue being relocated three times. The scale of AQUATECH has grown significantly over the years. This year, there were a total of 1,280 exhibitors, marking a substantial increase.

2. Thriving Industry
Exhibitors from across the globe filled the venue. Recently, world-class brands from outside the water purification industry have begun investing in and merging with existing suppliers, or seeking factories to label their brands and showcase their products at this exhibition. Notable examples include:
- Electronics Industry: Samsung, LG, Xiaomi
- Household Appliances Industry: Whirlpool, Honeywell
- Consumer Goods Industry: Unilever
- Entertainment Industry: Walt Disney
The influx of these well-known companies into the industry suggests a promising future, though over-investment could lead to fierce competition.
3. Formidable Competitors
Situated in Shanghai, this exhibition offers significant convenience to local Chinese exhibitors, who have invested heavily in booth space as well as design and decoration. The diverse brand images and products on display are a feast for the eyes of visitors.
Among these Chinese exhibitors, some companies, eager to capture market share quickly, have invested substantial amounts in hiring spokespeople such as Fan Bingbing, Lin Chi-ling, Liu Tao, and Huang Lei.

Due to the growing number of emerging competitors, attention to and demand for residential water purification equipment will be highly concentrated. As a result, price competition will intensify. In the near future, residential water purification equipment will become one of the white goods, meaning that everyone in this industry will struggle to make a profit. Smaller or new brands will find it difficult to survive.
ALYA, the company that has won the most Taiwan Excellence Awards for water purification equipment, participated in this prestigious event.
ALYA has not missed AQUATECH Shanghai in the past nine years. This year, ALYA exhibited its Taiwan Excellence award-winning products for the fourth consecutive year. Its stylish and innovative designs have consistently captured the attention of international purchasing managers and Chinese agents.
